His Mercy Surpasses His Wrath
🌿 Allah’s Mercy Is Greater Than His Anger
One of the most beautiful aspects of our faith is knowing that Allah’s mercy is vast — far greater than His anger. This truth offers hope, comfort, and forgiveness to every believer who turns sincerely to Allah.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When Allah created the creation, He wrote in His Book, which is with Him on His Throne: ‘My Mercy prevails over My Anger.’”
— (Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)
✨ A Message of Hope
Allah’s mercy embraces every one of His creations. No matter how big a person’s sins are, Allah’s forgiveness is greater — for He loves to pardon. His doors are always open for those who repent sincerely and seek His guidance.
💧 The Door of Forgiveness Is Always Open
Sometimes we may fall into mistakes, feel distant from Allah, or believe we are unworthy of His mercy. But this hadith reminds us that Allah is more merciful to us than we are to ourselves. He does not shut His door; we simply need to return to Him.
- Repentance wipes away sins.
- Dua strengthens our bond with Allah.
- Good deeds are rewarded many times over.
🌸 A Lesson for Our Hearts
When we remember that Allah’s mercy outweighs His anger, we learn to be hopeful, not despairing. We learn to return to Him after every mistake, knowing that He is Al-Rahman (The Most Merciful) and Al-Ghafoor (The Most Forgiving).
Let us turn to Allah with sincere hearts, ask for forgiveness, and strive to show mercy to others — just as we hope for His mercy upon us.
