What is Ramadan?
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and one of the Five Pillars of Islam โ a sacred time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community.
Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, abstaining from food, drink, and intimate relations. This practice is called Sawm.
