🌙 The Sunnah of Sleeping on the Right Side

Hadith:
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى تَحْتَ خَدِّهِ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ:
“اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا”
— رواه البخاري

Translation:
When the Prophet ﷺ lay down to sleep at night, he would place his right hand under his cheek and say:
“O Allah, in Your Name I die and I live.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari

🛏️ Daily Sunnah Reminder: Sleep Like the Prophet ﷺ

The Prophet ﷺ practiced a beautiful and mindful bedtime Sunnah: Sleeping on the right side, placing the right hand under the cheek, and reciting the duʿāʾ: “Allahumma bismika amootu wa aḥyā”.
