Hadith: The Reward of Waiting for Prayer
Translation:
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said, “A person is considered in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer in the mosque.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)
Reflection
This hadith reminds us of the immense reward Allah grants for sincerity and patience in worship. Simply sitting in the mosque, waiting for the next prayer, is counted as if one is already in prayer. This shows the value of maintaining attachment to the mosque and the eagerness for salah.
🌿 For those who strive to attend prayers in congregation, even their waiting time becomes an act of worship. This is a blessing and mercy from Allah, encouraging us to spend more time in His house.
